  • Her parents divorced when she was very young, and after her mother abandoned her, it was her father who took custody of her and her siblings.
  • In 2004, when her father was struggling financially, she took over the family’s care. Unbeknownst to him, So Hee asked her siblings to take her to auditions and began working as a model for children’s brands.
  • At the beginning of 2005, she participated in a beauty contest of SM Entertainment after this, the agency offered her to join the company as a trainee, but her father refused her the opportunity when she found out.
  • Later, in order for her daughter to fulfill her dream, her father supported her in her audition at the company JYP Entertainment she passed and became a trainee of the company.
  • In 2014, despite having exited from JYP Entertainment and signed with BH Entertainment both agencies had stated that So Hee would continue to be a member of Wonder Girls.
  • On July 20, 2015, So Hee and Sun Ye officially left the group Wonder Girls.

At the age of 12, So Hee joined the entertainment agency JYP Entertainment however, seeing her dancing skills and her charisma, J.Y. Park decided to integrate her into the new women’s group she was creating.

Thus, just under a year after joining the company, she became the third recruited member of the company. Wonder Girls after a year of training with the group, in February 2007 they debuted with the song “Irony”.

In February 2014, she announced that her contract with JYP Entertainment shortly thereafter, she signed a contract with the agency BH Entertainment.

Finally, on July 20, 2015, she announced that she would be leaving the group Wonder Girls to focus on her acting career.

On September 21, 2015, she left the agency BH Entertainmentand on September 30 of the same year, she announced that she had signed an exclusive contract with KEYEAST.
