2017: Re-Debut in Dreamcatcher

On November 29, 2016, “HappyFace Entertainment” gave a statement informing that Minx would debut again as a 7-member group, including Siyeon, her 4 group mates and the integration of 2 more members.

Dreamcatcher made her debut on January 13, 2017 with the song “Chase Me”.

2020: Solo debut with her first Digital Single “Paradise”.

January 23, 2020, Dreamcatcher Company reported that Si Yeon would debut as a solo artist on January 29th of the same year, with the digital single “Paradise” also announcing that Dreamcatcher’s comeback would soon follow. On January 28th, the official teaser of Paradise was revealed as a “Special Clip”.

On January 29 at 12 KST, the video for Paradise, an electronic pop genre song that conveys a message of comfort to modern people who feel oppressed and lonely, was revealed. The melodic chorus and synth melodies that follow are particularly indicative of the song’s theme. On January 30, Dreamcatcher’s channel revealed the video for “Paradise (White Ver.)”. As a bonus on the 31st it released “Paradise (Black Ver.)”.

The piano version of “Paradise” was released on February 10, as a bonus, the pianist who accompanies Si Yeon throughout the video is her agency partner Jae Seong.
