• In November 2019, Pledis Entertainment released a statement about S.Coups hinting that he would not be participating in SEVENTEEN promotions temporarily due to recent anxiety issues “Hello, this is Pledis Entertainment. We would like to make an official announcement about the health condition of S.Coups. The artist has recently undergone a detailed examination and diagnosis of his health, due to symptoms of anxiety, and after thorough discussion, all members of SEVENTEEN, including S.Coups himself, have decided that it would be best for him to take time to rest and temporarily refrain from participating in SEVENTEEN activities. We sincerely express our apologies to all the fans who have continued to show their love and support for SEVENTEEN and hope for your understanding, as we have made the decision to prioritize the health and well-being of our members. We will make sure that we continue to do everything possible to protect our artists. In addition, we sincerely hope that there will be no excessive assumptions or misunderstandings regarding S.Coups’ health, and we will make further announcements accordingly regarding his recovery and activities.
