South Korean pop, rock, folk and indie singer, songwriter and musician, his music is very emotional and manages to relax everyone who listens to it.
Since the age of 14, Ruvin has been interested in music. After several years of practice, he participated in the 2001 Yu Jae-ha music competition organized by the Yu Jae-ha Foundation and won second place. Years later, he graduated from the Seoul Institute of the Arts with a major in applied music.
In 2006, Ruvin joined the band Missing Island as a guitarist and released the album ‘Maiden Voyage’. By 2009, he was invited to sing with the famous South Korean composer and pianist Yiruma pra on the song ‘River flows in you’. Inspired by European culture, the singer-songwriter formed a group called ‘Bard’ in 2010, followed by the release of the albums ‘Bard’ (2010) and ‘Road to Road’ (2012). In 2011, Ruvin recorded the opening for the Korean version of anime ‘Kimi ni Todoke’. The following year, he participated in the soundtrack of director Lee San Bing’s film ‘Duet’.
Emotional lyrics about the search for the ideal love, a brilliant vocal performance and harmonious guitars are the elements that make up ‘After the first date’, his first solo album released in 2012. In 2013, Ruvin debuted as an actor in the independent musical ‘CHITARA’.
Ruvin is currently working as a studio support musician and in the concerts of the famous singer Lena Park. He is also preparing the recording of his second album as a soloist.
