Biography

Pre-Debut

Luna was born under the name Park Sun-Young in Seoul, South Korea on August 12, 1993. In 2006, SM Entertainment, signed Luna after watching her performance on the SBS TV show, “Truth Game”.

Debut

In September 2009, after having been trained for more than three years, she became a member of the new all-female group of SM Entertainment, f (x) she made her debut on September 5, 2009, respectively, under the label of her agency. For her beautiful voice, she is the member in f (x) she has recorded the most songs for dramas, being the main vocalist of her group.

Solitary Debut

On May 17, 2016, it was reported that Luna would make her solo debut in mid-June with a mini album.

On May 26 of the same year, SM Entertainment unveiled the first teaser images of her solo debut with her first mini album entitled ‘Free Somebody’. which was launched on May 31, 2016.
