About the Artist
His career began in 2006 with the Typhoon music video “I’ll wait”. His first television role was in 2007 when he appeared in First Wives’ Club for which he won a New Star Award at the 2008 SBS Drama Awards. Notable for his roles in the television series The Equator Man, I Am Legend and House of Bluebird, City Hunter and the Chinese drama Fairy Tale in Half.
For his role as Oh Young Seok for the drama Designated Survivor: 60 Days he revealed that he lost 20 pounds in order to play the character in the best possible way. In 2020 he joined the main cast of the series 365: Repeat the Year where he played Ji Hyung Joo, a detective of the violent crimes unit.
