- On January 28, 2019, it was reported that the Highlight member will enlist at the Korea Army Training Center in Nonsan on April 18. The agency added that he is planning to enter privately without any special event on the day of enlistment. On November 19, 2020, he concluded his military service.
Biography
Lee Gi Kwang was an apprentice at JYP Entertainment for four years. In early 2009 he moved from JYP to Cube Entertainment and officially debuted on April 2, with the first mini-album First Episode: A New Hero under the stage name AJ, which stood for “As Junior.” He was dubbed by the Korean media as the second Rainonly six months after his debut it was announced that he would be part of a new group, B2ST/BEAST, and his solo activities were put on hiatus.
