Since it is difficult for us to re-record our show, we will be editing his parts as much as possible.” Kangin was also planned to take on the role of a special DJ for the KBS show, “Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio,” but a KBS representative reported that Kangin’s appearance as a special DJ has been canceled.
    • On May 25, fans of Super Junior posted a petition for Kangin to leave the group through DC Inside (a Korean internet forum) claiming that Kangin’s unsavory acts harm Super Junior’s group activities, which caused a great impact and controversy among both domestic and international fans of the group. Dreammaker Entertainment, the production company responsible for putting on “SUPER Camp”, announced the cancellation of shows in Los Angeles, New York and Santiago.
    • The police released an official statement on the accident on June 10, where it has been determined that Kangin’s blood alcohol content at the time of the accident was 0.157 percent. The level at which the police withdraw a driver’s license is 0.1 percent. The Gangnam Police Department has forwarded its findings to the Prosecutor’s Office who fined him 7 million won (approximately $6,300 USD) on July 5.     • On July 27, Super Junior’s Kangin received an official court date to appear in court for his incident. The case was heard by seven investigators from the Seoul Central District Court on August 17.
