Biography
K. Will (케이윌) is a Korean pop ballad singer debuted in 2005 with the participation of soundtrack.He released his first album two years later in 2007 under Big Hit Entertainment.He signed in 2008 with his current agency. Starship Entertainment where he is currently located, being considered a representative of Starship Entertainment (who takes some actions as the CEO) the one who takes care of a lot of things in the agency, tops the list of artists that have Starship Entertainment is practically the one that made Starship Entertainment the agency will be recognized as a small agency that has talented artists, followed by SISTAR, BOYFRIEND and others.
First years
K.Will showed his love for music and singing in his childhood.He often sang with his mother while he played a guitar.After graduating from high school, he told his parents that he wanted to be a singer.However, his parents were against the idea and convinced him that it should not be his main job.Ultimately, he tried two jobs which he found difficult to handle at the same time, so he decided to focus on music.
Pre-debut
K.Will participated in auditions and looked for possible composers to collaborate with. When K.Will was a trainee, he would do anything to sing, performing in street concerts, backup or singing in the choir of famous artists. During that time, he developed friendships with now well-known artists such as 8eight, Lim Jeong Hee, SG Wannabe and Sweet Sorrow. K.Will was often mistaken as the composer of TVXQ “Hug” until the matter was clarified by an interview on KBS World.6.

- J.Y. Park wrote and composed the title track of his debut album “Left Heart”.
- Helped to Lee Min Ho as a vocal coach for him to sing “My Everything” for the soundtrack of Boys Over Flowers.
- He has a great friendship with the singer Moon Myung Jin and with the singer Wheesung
- Due to the popularity of the OST of the drama Shining Inheritance (in which he participated), he was invited to join the “Korean Music Festival 2009” in Japan, together with T-MAX and Jo Sung Mo.
- In October 2009, a few weeks before the release of his second album, he was diagnosed with the H1N1 virus. Although he recovered in less than a week, his second album was postponed until November 5, 2009.
- In the survival program NO.MERCY of Starship Entertainment he represented the CEO of his company.
