- In February 2016, JYP announced Junhyeok’s departure and the cancellation of his contract with JYP due to personal reasons.
- In 2017 Jun Hyeok joined Be-Blossom group under V Entertainment but unfortunately the group failed to debut.
- During his audition at The Unit was asked the reason for his departure from DAY6 to which he replied that he had decided to do so because he felt it hurt the group.
- En The Unit he was eliminated in the penultimate chapter, being in the 31st position of the ranking. In the program he stood out for his great singing skills.
- On May 2, 2020, he posted on his instagram a photo of him in a military uniform confirming that he has enlisted for military service.
