- From the age of two he appeared in drama, movies and commercials.
- He debuted as an actor in 2000, so he could be considered sunbae of many groups he admires. This was revealed on Sukira when he Ryeo Wook from Super Junior just a lady “You are a superior (sunbae).”
- He did not audition to join the company as he was recruited by a company manager while at a convenience store with his friends.
- He was the second member confirmed to debut in SEVENTEEN.
- Before entering the agency PLEDIS Entertainment went to the SM Entertainment for an audition, but was not selected due to his young age.
- When he lived in China K-pop was very popular and many of his friends listened to it so naturally that’s how interest in both K-pop and Korea was born.
- Jun acted in a Chinese drama called Untouchable in 2015, his character was “Little Dracula”.
- He is ranked #81 in the TOP of the most beautiful faces in the world conducted by TC Candler magazine 2016.
- He and The8 wrote the lyrics to their song My I they were first written in Chinese and then translated into Korean.
- He choreographs with the Performance Team for all of the songs of SEVENTEEN.
