In order to get out of the agency, he had to pay 200 million won (approximately $179,000) for ending his contract early. At that point, he met with Jay, who told him that he would pay the fine if he works with him and thus, Loco became part of AOMG.

I wish more people knew about his good work.” AOMG seemed taken by surprise by the message and said, “Jay Park frequently donates the profit to universities. instead of thinking about having a good image he just wants to enjoy music with students.”
  • When asked about reports of donations to the university on Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook jay humbly responded, “Being paid based on popularity doesn’t really fit me. I thought it would be better if there was a way I could do something good, so I made that suggestion.”

On May 13, 2021 he announced again that he had plans to retire.Jay Park has been living a hectic schedule being a rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur in Korea. He is also the founder and CEO of record label H1GHR Music.Since he made his debut in the Korean music industry, Jay Park has been constantly working as he increases his popularity around the world. He said on his Instagram story that he will be taking a break until next year and asked anyone who needs to ask him anything to do so next year.

On December 31, 2021, he revealed that he would be stepping down as CEO of AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC, through an official statement on his Instagram “After much thought and taking time to sort out my emotions, I have decided to step down as CEO of AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC. I know this may come as a shock to many people, but I will remain an advisor to both labels and we will continue to be a family and a team. I want to thank all the fans who have trusted me and supported me in all my endeavors and I hope they will continue to support Aomg, H1ghr Music and me and all the things we do for many years to come. As for all the artists and employees of AOMG and H1ghr Music, I want to sincerely thank you for entrusting your future to these two labels that I have founded and it is truly an honor to build this together and continue to make History together. I don’t take it for granted for a second and it will always be near and dear to my heart. I am not perfect, but I have always done my best and will continue to do my best. I love you all. Thank you and happy new year.” on January 01, 2022, he deactivated his Instagram, but released his digital single “To Life”.
