About Eru

Biography

Eru is the son of popular singer Tae Jin Ah, a legendary performer of the trot genre.He lived in New York until he was 7 years old, then his family moved to South Korea, where he attended numerous international schools, including Seoul American High School.Eru always wanted to be a producer and composed many songs.However, after a while, he decided that he didn’t want other people to sing his songs.Eru wanted to sing them himself.he thought that the person who composes the songs understands them best.that’s when he decided to become a singer.Eru spent two years training before making his singing debut in 2005.Eru’s debut album included works by musicians like Joo Young Hoon, Lee Hyun Jung (the composer of Big Mama’s “Break Away”) and vocal coach No Young Joo, who trained BoA Fly to the Sky and Lee Soo Young a 100-member string orchestra also participated in his debut album.

  • In September 2010, Eru was accused by his ex-girlfriend Choi Hee Jin, a song lyricist, that Eru’s father Tae Jin Ah forced his to have an abortion after he became pregnant and tried to give his $2000 which he claimed he did not do. he did not accept. Choi first exposed the scandal on his Cyworld account. Choi Hee Jin was later arrested for online defamation and blackmailing Tae Jin Ah and Eru.
